Give Noy a Chance

Almost 90% of Election returns have been canvassed as of now. Though it's not yet complete, we can all say that we already have a new President-- Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

Honestly, I was disappointed with the results. My bets didn't win. Most of the losing candidates have already conceded and accepted their defeat. So it's also time for us to move on, and stop being bitter.

I am never a fan of Noynoy. In fact I feel like he's a bit incompetent for the job. But I got so irritated with those die-hard fans of other candidates who keep on protesting Noynoy's victory. He is not yet proclaimed as President but some are already opposing on his administration.

Take a look at what I've found on Facebook:

C'mon guys, give the guy a chance! I know he has not yet proven anything in Congress and Senate, but who knows, he might be the one to start the change.

Ugly comments have been flooding this page like "bobo", "abnoy" and "walang nagawa". But let me ask you, have you done something good for the country?

Stop complaining. If you don't like the administration, then do not rely on the government. Do something to change the country, even in your own little ways. Your future does not depend on the government, it depends on your choices.

Here's another one I saw on Facebook:

This is what I'm really scared of. Gloria Arroyo being Prime Minister. I wish this would not happen. 9 years is enough, don't add some more.

Arroyo wins the Congressional race. If they initiate a charter change, there might be a possibility for a Parliament type of government and most probably Arroyo will be the Prime Minister. I've had enough of the Garci scandal, the ZTE deal, the expensive dinners in the US and promises that are always broken.

Again, please give others a chance to lead the country. If you really want to help the country, having a position in the government is not the only way to do that.

Agree... stop criticism and denials. Everybody is a winner then they work together. I don't know what in the world happened after the first Edsa Revolution, it's like everyone is lusting for power, wealth and fame. I guess, everybody should be actors then. :) Let's support whoever wins the elections. Whether cheated or not, as long as we do our responsibilities as citizens of this nation, working hand-in-hand with fellow Filipinos, abiding the law, I guess nothing will go wrong.

    Hello Claum,

By the way, sana talaga maubos na ang mga buhaya sa pulitika. Sana di magpadala si noy2 sa sistema at mapanindigan niyang puksain ang kurapsiyon. Keep it posted! I like your posts! Keep up the good work.

I strongly agree to what you have shared Claum. I have been a fan of Noy2 since he decided to run as Presidentiable, but anyways I am happy he won! And I think its obvious already! Those negative feedbacks against, sorry d ako natablan! LOLs, the bottomline being a senator is to pass laws, right? Kahit mi isa sa kanya pinasa ndi pumasa, still at least he did his best!..Okay? and again give Noynoy a chance, I know he can rule our country! God Bless..

    nice post ClauM!

T-shirt designs and t-shirts, that's our main product in bloghob. Just name it bloghob, there's nothing more I can wish for. Thanks a lot for adding me.

BTW, TVXQ?? I don't know them. But I ask my sister and she said that it's a taiwaneese group. Is it?

I totally agree with you. Hayz, kelan kaya maaalis sa atin ang ugaling yan. Rather than criticism why not we all work together for the success of this country. I don't understand those negative comments na akala mo perpekto sila. Sino mang manalo sa election I think deserve a break besides people elected them kasi they believe in their capacity to lead. I hope na lahat tayo will do our own part to make this country successful.

I agree. We should give a chance for Noynoy. Who knows, maybe he would do the same like his father or maybe he can do better. We really don't know what's going to happen. But, one thing's for sure, we should accept it and together, as one nation help each other. Also, I am against with Gloria Arroyo for being the Prime Minister. I know I'm young to say this, I'm only 15 but I know what's happening in our country and as far as I can see, Arroyo made a lot of decisions that were against for us. Hindi na ba talaga tayo natutong mga pinoy? Nakakalungkot man ding isipin.
